A: No. We strongly recommend 2–3 people. The frame is lightweight aluminum, but beams are long (12–16 ft) and need alignment.
Q: Do I need a concrete foundation?
A: Yes – for ground mounting, use concrete footings (min 18" deep). For deck mounting, ensure deck structure can support ~500 lbs total.
Q: Is electrical wiring difficult?
A: The motor requires a standard 110V (US) or 220V (EU) outlet. We recommend hiring a licensed electrician for final connection. Manual crank override is included for power outages.
Q: How long does installation take?
A: First-timers: 6–8 hours for two people. Pros: 3–4 hours.
Q: Is it really waterproof?
A: Yes – when louvers are fully closed, the hidden gutter system channels water down through the posts. No drips.
